i'll be using a 4channel amp (phoenix gold).
2 channels (75wrms) to power the crossovers, and bridge the other 2 channels to power a small sub.

I'm abit worried tho i might be underpowering the components with only 75w.

bollocks, i've just had a good idea on how to do it, use the mat in the boot as a template, and i've only gone and chucked it cos it was manky. Shit! i'll have to borrow one.

i didn't mate, got sound gallery in Wycombe to build the install.

just a quick Q about your install: how did you get the shape right on the wood to fit well in your boot?

No the 4 chn would be used as well as the xovers

cheers, i want good sound quality, but dont wanna go mad. I listen to main rock/metal music so need good SQ. would the 4ch be used instead of the cross over?

Get something like a 150RMS 2 channel amp. Or if you wanna go for real class get a 4 chn amp. BUT this is only recomended for ICE nuttas that want top SQ.
