Thats where you are wrong. The C16XE has a different compression ratio of 11.0:1 whereas the X14/16XE has a compression ratio of 10.5:1. C16XE Peak torque is produced about 500-700rpm lower than the X16XE engine so has better low down grunt, giving the better 0-60 time. It is 2mph faster at top end because of the slight increase in power and torque figures.
