I have a bunch of wires down the driver's side too, but can't think what they are for.

I'm gonna have another look in an hour or so at the drivers side.

I really don't want to drill a hole in the door.

kris, how did u do ur passenger's side?

yeah i have central locking, but there is only 2 wires running down that side of the car for it, rather than the huge amount the other side.

im going to get another gromit for the drivers side door and drill a hole to put the speaker wire through into it.

i was gonna do that, but my crossovers have their terminals exposed, i can't cover them etc..

have u got any pics of urs?

not looking forward to doing it at all, but it has to be done.

I also have to figure out where + how to mount the speaker crossovers

Ive run my wires down the sides of the car where the standard wiring is and have no problems, just remember to run the RCA's and Power Cables down opposite sides of the car to avoid interference(spelling)!!!!

As for teh cables to the speakers, the pic isnt working but i know what you are faced with, going from the car to the door i threaded the wire as far as i could which was up till the Car body side of the wiring loom them put a small cut in the rubber tube then drilled a hole on the door inside where the wiring block sits and put a gromet in it and ran it into the door through there!!!!!

Bit lengthy but hopefully you get what i mean, sorry if ive just confused you even more!!!!!!

If i were to run the RCA + Power cables to the boot of the car, which route shall i take?

I was told to avoid routing along the existing vauxhal wiring.

Also i've been having some trouble getting the speaker cable into the doors. I've uncliped the existing wiring loom for the doors and reveals this :

obviously threading a chunky thru this rubber tubing is gonna be impossible, what are my other options without drilling any holes in the door?

cheers :D
