i can't understand re calibrating by resetting the ecu, the sensors would adjust automatically without all that :boggle: sounds like a waste of time

misfiring won't b filter,

he replaced one of the leads which cost me 30 quid for 1 lead jus went to pull it out and it broke its old and shit!!!!!

went down to halfords got a set of high performance leads for 35 quid

is it misfiring or just spluttering after you restart it?

it does this first after you reset the ECU as its trying to recalibrate itself

What can you do if the cars delocked with central locking? (I am not climbing through the boot!)

Disconnect battery overnight since leaving mine for 3 hours did not wipe the ECU memory.

you need to reset the ECU do this by disconnecting the battery for about 2 hours. reconnect the battery and start the car DO NOT touch the throttle for a few mins let it sort itself out it will cough and splutter but thats normal all it is, is the ECU resetting itself hope this helps
