However in September last year, when they revised the Corsa C's a bit, they changed the colour of the silver :( The silver adaptor Autoleads do is the wrong type of silver for the newer C's...

i did this with the adaptor that change it into RCA and its sounded terrible, ended up spendin more money getting it reversed and changin the headunit. there was no proportion with bass or treble at any level.

You can use the headunit speaker wires to give the signal to the amp, but only if the amps you got have a high level input. This generally results in poorer sound quality but its the solution you have. Or alternativly, you can buy an adaptor that makes your speaker wires into RCA's.

I want to keep my standard corsa c head unit, simply becasue of it being silver and also that the adapters arnt the same colour silver!! So I was wondering if it would be possible to run all the speakers off a amp, or maybe 2. Do I just need to connect the amplified source to the amp and adjust the gain??

and also is it worth doing?? I know changing the head unit would probably be 100 times better but like I say I really want to keep the standard one in

Cheers
