Same kit mate and I didnt touch the bumpstops....no problems and thats been about two months now

So shortening the bumpstops is not a good idea

ignore it, mine is down 60mm on origanal bumpstops.

i wouldnt shorten the bumpstops if i was you, will cause more rubbing.

I just got got 40mm lowering springs for my 1995 3dr corsa.They are G max springs and in the box there is a big notice saying you must shorten original bumpstops by 20mm minimum.Could someone explain to me about this.Cheers.
