just use fiber glass matting, which btw is used to fill in holes in bodywork anyway, then use some filler over it, it's easier and cheaper to do.

if u use f/glass filler and then just a light skim of isopon then it wont sink coz the f/glass filler wont sink and itll stop the filler from sinking

The more filler an fiberglassy stuff u use the more it'll look warped... after a month the filler will contract ever so slightly... Only notice it from like a few inches away, but, I'm like that, like it to be perfect!

Use filler an weld plate/spray... Bodyshops chare 200 quid for it, it really cost bout 60 quid... And for Corsa C you'll be lucky to find solenoids that work on the boot... Need to resort to a pull cable! :P

if you just want to remove the small lock hole you you weld a lplate on the inside, and outside and then fill in the hole and paint over it
best to get a pro to do it
