Not steelies, my old 14" Sxi alloys. Reason being they are a lot lighter than my 16" Evo-R's!

aaa ok
if it is direct port you will need one fogger per cylinder, so will need 4.
my dry system knowledge is not as good as my wet. but somehow u gonna need to ad more fuel when u use nitrous, else the power gain wont be as high as it should, cause u will just be buring the extra fuel in each cylinder that is not normally burnt. with a wet system u ading more fuel so that helps up the power, also i blow the nitrous over my air temp meter, so when it reads the cold nitrous teh standard computer chip adds more fuel,

Not quite sure what system I've got, think its dry though?. Bought the one that was recommended to me. It's a direct port nitrous oxide system running 50hp jets and also has a progressive controller system. I have throttle bodies fitted so had to use direct port apparently. Been told though that direct port is best for performance gains. Could probably find out what size the jets are, but to be honest I haven't paid that much attention to them since getting them. Think I will get it fitted though as my engines internals have been modified as well with uprated head gasket, con rod bolts and valve springs! :)

yeah def low 14's
see when you buy the kit they say '50hp kit'
but.. it is all dependant on fuel pressure and jet sizing. i take it you got a wet system?
for example i have a wet single fogger system i have 2 different jet sizing '50hp' and '75hp' now the 50hp jets are 0.45mm for fuel and 0.8mm for nitrous. the 75 ones are 0.5 fuel and 0.9 nitrous. now that is set up for 2 - 2.4 bars of fuel pressure. understand?
thats why i wanna know the size of teh jets cause then i can work out roughly how much mor epower you will get. tricky game nitrous too much fuel bogs too little will run lean and detonate.

patrick i he sez without the NOS it runs in the 18's, and with nos 15's so thats 3 seconds knocked off?? so i reckon if u fitted nos it should be running low 14's if anything

Team Krazy, I have got 50bhp jets.

My engine has be detuned since my 15.1 sec 1/4 but runs about 15.8secs pretty easily now. Do you think with the 50hp jets on it would do a high 14? :)

That is spot on!

just ran outside and took a new pic of the engine, might need to refresh thread to see the red bougi cords, and slightly cleaner engine bay :-)

hi patrick
the car will run abot a 18 sec 1/4 mile without the nitrous
i have a 75hp kit and a 50 hp kit
it is a 1.6 8v motor, we dont get the 16v here, well we do but it comes in the astra
i would fit the nitrous if i were you, you will love the difference and the motor can handle it easy. do you know what your jet sizing is?

Kit looks lovley. Love the skirts on it. Need some more subtle stuff like that over here.

Team Krazy, I can't remember your spec exactly but am I right in thinking that your car is just a standard 1.6 16v engine but with 50bhp NOS?

Just wondering cos my 1.6 16v did a 1/4 in 15.118secs @ 93mph and I've also got a 50bhp Nitrous kit sitting at home which I haven't fitted yet, just want to know who much faster I could do it in with the nitrous fitted.

Did you do any runs without the nitrous linked up? If so what was the difference between runs? :)
