i thought that by resetting my ecu, it would take into account the hole, or at least for get it was there and idle as if it was ok.

Fair be, time to get it sorted :D cheers peeps

ICV is also a very known problem on the Corsa B 12v, My Dad runs a driving school, and one of his cars was doing this every week nearly, in the end Vauxhall offered him a very good price back for the car becuase of all the probs it had. Vauxhall are aware of the problem in my local dealership, and because of this they fix it for free, but i can't see all dealerships doing it.

sounds repetitive but i'll ask anyway.
My mighty 12V is cutting out occasionally when left to idle or when hard braking!
When left to idle, it varys from 500 rpm to 1900 rpm (rough estimates from rev counter reading).

Heard alot about idle control valve, but i aint 100% sure on where it is!
I have reset my ecu but i have a hole in the front section of my exhaust,
which is due to be fixed (long long story). But my thoughts were that resetting my ecu would basically forget about the hole.

Either way, it aint making it any better.

Where on the mighty 12V is the ICV???
