Lambda Sensor (Mixture Too Rich)

My corsa has been playing up a bit, and if you leave it idle for about 5 minutes, you get the warning light on, so I decided to read the fault.

It returned as 1,2 1,2 1,2 4,5 4,5 4,5

Which is apparently - Exhaust Gas Rich

Is there anything I can do easily to fix this?
Can you explain the problem a little more clearly?

Also, I am not sure if this is related but my car has always been a bit sluggish in 1st and 2nd gear, and I occasionally get the warning light coming on.

Thanks in advance.
