Mine is lowered 40mm with 16's on (ET45) and I had problems at first! With more than 3 people in going over bumps on the motorway the tyres catched loads! I grinded them down as far as possible and skimmed the plastic arch an now I can have 5 in. Don't assume it will work ok mate, everyone said I would be alright and I wasn't. But to be fair I wish I had gone for 17's now, so think about considering them, u may have to do arch work anyway!

Yes 16's will go on no prob's and with the correct offset even lowered upto 60mm should be fine.

Mikorsa16v, I had same banging exhaust problem with mine lowered 60mm.
Under the car behind the backbox you will see a large U shapped bracket with 2 bolts on the bottom of it. Slacken them and turn the bracket round so they point to the side, even move it back/forward slightly from where it's banging.... that easy, problem solved ;)
Or if you can't do it take it to a garage when it's quiet and I'm sure they'd do it for nothing (they did for me!)
