well...i was right, on the drivers side the actuator canoot push the plunger up...so i gotta go back into the door to fix i think. | |

ok. ive now put the wires into the doors, did not need to cut the grommets. The i have spent abt 4 hours on it now! lol. next i gotta put the live leads into the engine bay thru that grommet....any tips? | |

oh great! did u also cut a hole in the engine bay to car interior grommet? or u take power from ur HU? | |

splice i mean make a slit or stretch them and cut a hole with a stanley knife. It is 10 times more difficult on drivers side lol | |

take out the rubber bit from body to door? then drill a hole in that connector? | |

u need to disconnect the loom and take the plastic cylinder bit off the end and then drill a hole through it....thread wires through and reconnect! | |

but u cant, from the inside of the door it is hard to reach, and the angle is too great to even see the door plug! | |

how did u guys cut the loom plug in the doors? there aint no room to get a drill in there... i need to make a hole for more wires for my CL wiring.:thumbs: |
