from audiobahn........cant u read! only jokin,

the problem i have is findin an amp powerful enuf to power 2 1200 watt subs but is still small enough to fit in the boot floor!

the big flame one on audiobahns site looks gud but i doubht i could fit two in (eg.end to end across the boot.)

you can get 12" subs that'll take 5000RMS

kickers new solo x 18" square will take 5000RMS

take a look at the linear compression sub on there site,u can get it in 34 inch 5000watt rms! fu{kin hell will that shake or watt........u see wat i did there...watt..........ahh forget it!

bout how much these subs cost as im considerin them very much so!

from the specs of that speaker each voice coil is 4 ohms so you can only drop the total load using that sub to 2 ohm

Loads of monoblocks are 1 Ohm stable. You just need to either runt he sub in paralell so that the amp sees a 2 ohm load or run in serice so it gets a 1 ohm. Either way you only really need 1 amp.

theses are cheap, only £109.90 each and i like the look of 2 amps?? Is it not a good idea to use 2?
The sub is 2x 2 Ohm coils so u would need 2 amps wudnt u , one for each coil as most amps dont drive 1 Ohm?

Mate these subs are wicked. if you get the top end ones then they ROCK. Seen a few demo cars decked out with their stuff. Very impressive.
