I used a 3rd party professional CR system, and ran new wires thru the car. much easier. did it in 1/2 a day but looks pro.

Please!!! anyone out there who can help!!!!

I've correctly wired the pos, neg, and switched pos.

I've now come to the conclusion that the car needs positive impulses to trigger and not negative ones and so have wired part of the system to the positive side.

I need to know which wires to send the signal on to lock and unlock the doors. Some of the colour coding on the wires doesn't seem to agree with haynes!!!

Also where is the best place to connect up my indicators?

Mike....

Ahh well i guess i'll find out by trial and error on monday when i try and fit it.

Maybe i'll take progressive photos of it and submit a tutorial.

Cavey:

It's just you say: black/white isn't needed, but then say its lock/unlock/common as well.

And you say purple is lock/unlock/common and my instructions say thats actually positive voltage from the ignition...

Cavey: thanks for the info, you've given me some more ideas.. but i think my colours may be different to yours.

I think from the wiring diagram i can figure out the 3 lock/unlock wires......

Controller Box

Mount in the fusebox with a screw or velcrow the velcrow is stuck on the back of
the controller box, The Black and White wire coming out of the controller box is
for a Pager this is not used unless you want to connect a pager, The black wire
is the attenna and try to keep it away from metal as this will affect the range
of the units.

The wires coming of the connector

Red to a 12V supply or the battery (You will need some more cable if you want to
connect it to your battery)
Black a good earth on the body or the the negative on the battery you will need
more cable if you connect it you your battery.
Orange this gose to the hazard warning unit or to the indicators so they flash
when you lock and unlock the car.
Red\Black lock or unlock or common
Purple lock or unlock or common
Black\White lock or unlock or common

These three wires are trial and error in you car but they must be connected to
the central locking controller or to the maser motor which is in the drivers
door.

that's the info i got from a guy i'm getting my Remote Locking kit from... dunno if it'll help ya

Can someone help me out with some info about the central locking system in the corsa B?

I am planning to fit a kit to convert my central locking to remote lockign but need to know if the car is "NEG, POS, PNEUMATIC, MOTOR INTERUPT, LOCK DRIVE or SINGLE WIRE LOCKING"

Or maybe i can sinply make the kit control the drivers locking motor with an external current and that will in tuen trigger the rest.....

The instructions for the kit are here http://www.nepata.de/nepatronics_com/support/ISG310-UK.pdf

I would be really grateful for ANY help anyone can offer..

Thanks

Mike...
