got a type r 2 ohm and it shows in the instructions what i stated above, thats dual voice coil. may be different for other subs but thats what im going on. i dont really understand what youve said diggity! ami running the correct stuff? | |

not quite.... all depends if you using Dual voice coil(DVC) sub or not... | |

if you running one sub then you need 2ohm, if you running 2 off one amp you need 4 ohm subs. | |

the 2 ohm load would give a higher power output and would be louder as long as set up correctly. | |

Just read your manual on how to bridge an amp. it's uselly the two outside positive and negitive terminals. | |

u can just run them in parallel, will double the impedance, but will b ok... | |

i wondered this before. Austin will tell u how its done. He made me a little diagram on how you can bridge the amp to run 2 subs. i think it makes the subs run at higher ohms tho. not really sure, but it worked for me :D | |
