im using 15w40 as its free! :)
hand book for corsa c recommends 10w40 semi or 5w30 fully but I found the 10w40 is more than good enough if changed regular, 5000miles max.

Newer GM engines are apparently 5W30 but there seems to be a load of confusion around the Z12XE in a 2003 car - i think it's because they brought in the twinport around this time.

Think i'll go with 5W40; Shell also recommends it.

5W-40 fully synthetic according to Opie Oils.

Seems a little over the top for that engine.

Does anyone know what the correct oil is to use in a 03 Z12XE Corsa C?

From what i can find it's either 5W30, 0W40 or 5W40 fully synth or 10W40 semi synth :boggle:
