best thing to do is check autotrader n that n see wot price they go for on there, even though u won't see many for sale
id say put about half or a bit more onto ur value

Sir_Mixalot

yeah but generally if i spend about £1500 getting it done then that will be more or less added to the value when i sell it.

not always m8 - depends on buyer n wot other mods u have done to it. some will think its overpriced, where as some will think that it is cheap

what kind of value does it add to the car when you come to sell it?

BeArDy

yes, its the small thing people do not add up
New Zorst - 250
new wheel Barings - 80
full service parts - 150'ish
your will need a new fuel pump - 40
etc etc
all adds up

Yes its another 2.0 transplant post!
I am just about to begin (well a guy i found on CruiseSouthWest.co.uk) is about to begin a 2.0 transplant (C20XE redtop from a 92 calibra) into my 1.2 M reg LS corsa. The engine is currently in a written off Cav GSi, which is 4x4. We were going through the final preperations are decided the best way to go for a first time transplant is the PVD kit, costly but hopefully worth it in the long run. We also know we need to buy a new exahaust system since the Cav one is not the right shape because at the back it has to clear the rear diff, and none of us can weld. Anyone got any ideas on how much a new exhaust system is likely to cost us, and where a good place to get it is? Also any other points we should be aware of from anyone thats done this?

cheers.
