Ive got -60mm Gmax kit and 7x16 on 195/45/16 tyres and cut back all arches by about 10-15mm, metal arch that is, also shaved some plastic off of the plastic arches!!! AND STILL GET SCRUBBAGE!!!!!I sometimes wonder how people dont get rubbing and others do, i guess the tolerances on the production line comes into the story!!!

I get scrubbing on the front plastic outer arch on the inner plastic arch on the outside even though ive cut that back aswell and also scrubs on the inner plastic on the front aswell!!!!!

Gonna get new rims and 195/40/16 tyres soon hopefully it will stop then!!!!

If u change from -40mm Apex to -60mm Apex can you let me know how much lower it is as i am considering that change too once i get my archs done.

Yes, i ordered an Apex kit from PVD and they sed they will give me the -40mm Nova springs cos apparently the corsa spring sare "pants" , lol as the nova springs are a lesser poundage so it will then sit a true -40mm. I havnt got them on yet but i will be fittin them with 16" x 7" wearin 195/45 tyres. They said this setup is pukka, so i trust em!

what do u mean unbolt the rear arch? will i need to re attach the arch liner in any way?

CHEERS (sorry 4 hijackin :P)

I think my TSW Evo-R's are et45 and with 195/45/16's they were not rubbing with my 60mm Jamex springs and I have had no arch mods.

I have now got those new Dunlop tyres though (very good!) 195/40/16's they are even better!

yup should be fine i may go 60mm when my archs are done. Anyhow the apex -600mm kit aint 60mm drop
bout 30mm at rear 40mm at front i think as my 40mm kit is about -25mm at back -30mm at front

So u reckon as long as they arent too wide they'll be ok with 60mm drop?? Should look sweet i reckon :D

no mine are 16's with 195/45/16 rubber

I'm not entirely sure on the width. Surely they wont be more than 7" with 195 rubber? Are u on 17's?

im on Apex - 40mm kit with 7.5" wheels and it only just rubs so i expect you would be fine as long as your wheels are only 7".

Will i get away with just de-bolting my arches??
