Because they don't want it running all the time

why does it really matter if the fans are running all the time? keeps its cooler. most likely to be a wiring short or something, wont be a sensor

Got a friend with the above motor.

I have tried a replacement CTS that I had and that did not sort it. I only had two minutes with the car so wasn't able to check alot.

Apparently the fans are on all the time but the water/oil is fine and the car reaches temp ok.

I am hoping to do a pedal test tomorrow but was wondering what else to check?
I was thinking maybe thermostat or fan switch/ relay?
