ur making this sound alot harder than it needs to be...the remote lead to a live as austin suggested is clearly the easiest and best option ;)

just get a relay switch near the battery! this just does what u want. when the engine is on the sub is on, but when you turn the engine off the sub turn off automatically

The easiest way would be put a switch on the sub power cable then you can turn it on and off when ever you like!!!!

you could take the 12v remote lead from an ignition live? that way as soon as the ignition is cut the amp for your sub would shut off.
