I changed the coolant temperature sensor last night and that solved the problem straight away. The car now runs really smooth on Tickover as well. Thanks for your help lads.

I had some issues with it cutting out etc when car got warm. I replaced coolant sensor first but nothing happened so tried a new lambda and that sorted it.

I just unplugged the coolant temp sensor for my drive to work today and the car ran fine and didnt cut out. When I got to work I plugged the sensor back in with the car running and It stalled straight away. So I'm guessing its going to be the coolant temp sensor that's at fault?

But when I get it running again then the car runs fine without fault...

sounds more like its a warm running issue if its fine from cold and ran for 10-15 minutes the car will have warmed up in this time

I've had this happen every day this week and I can't figure out what it is. The car starts fine from cold and all seems well. When it's been running for around 10-15mins the car will revv to around 2k and then cut out. After waiting a min or so I can start the car and it runs fine and I have no further problems. So it's obv a cold running issue I have? Any ideas would be helpful thanks :) |
