I sold a set of wheels I'd originally bought for my Corsa to a dude with a Civic. They were ET42.

My friend drives a Honda Civic '98 1.4 si.(PCD 100,4 bolt). The offset can be adjusted to 35 with spacers.

If the offset is different are the wheels more likely to rub if the car is lowered? , Im unsure if i should sell these wheels or put them on my next car.

Vauxhall wheels will fit Rover, MG, Honda, Fiat, Seat, VW as long as they are 4 stud, the hole distance is the same.

different pcd?

They will go on, but the offset may be out. Best bet is to try one, i know that if its under 16" then it should go on even if its the wrong offset. Civics have large arches anyway.

Think the civic drives ET35.

Does anyone know if ET45 wheels will fit a 96+ Civic ??

Cheers.
