Its 60bhp, if you were in the position to, drop a x16xe in there! Will spend more making the difference up.

There are two types of 1400 8v -

C14NZ single point injection 60bhp
C14SE multi point 82bhp

SRi got the C14SE.

Cams, exhaust and intake will all make a small difference but a 1600 conversion will probably work out cheaper £ per bhp.

I've been looking at Kent cams as I know these engines suffer from problem cams
