I take it you DO have the same make HU as the CD Changer don't you :)

Otherwise you're gonna have problems.

I had connect changer cable and live, red. Then ground the changer end in the boot. What make is it that you have got, have you got it working yet? Mine didnt work at first as when putting the sills back, my mate put a screw through the cable, doh, expensive mistake that!

Yep all you need to connect is the data cable and in some cases thats it, i ve got an alpine and thats all i had to do on my old sony however ihad to connect the data cable and some RCAs, what make is it?

so power comes from the headunit, not off the batt.?

I just had to plug the two rca leads into the back of the HU and attach the supplied data cable with which to control it etc.

on my cd changer you need to plug it into the back of the headunit, and wire a yellow live into the changer.

If it dont work look for ur source button :D

When fitting a cd changer is it a matter of just plugging it into the head unit??? I just did this but nothing seems to be happening:boggle:
