it would not stress the rca outputs, but it would put more stress on the amps to give out the louder signal.

i have apishy sony cdx L400r cd hu, only has one rca am I wasting my time trying to run to amps with this, I kno i could use splitters but would this not stress the rca or anything??

basically you can do the RCA split in the boot to save you running a 3rd RCA through the car when there isnt any need.

right ok. is there anyway i can have 3 rca's even tho there is only space for 2. i.e put the seperator thing in my headunit and the 2 rcas into the 1 slot???

most amps have an option of being put inline with the speaker wires rather than using an RCA. its not the prefered choice but in some cases its all you can do.

it will explain how to do it in your amplifyer instructions if you can.

you dont want to split the rca if for example you are using one for front speakers and one for rear, if your in this situation either buy a new headunit or mount the amp inline with the speaker wires.

thats what i did was use 2 rca's but im getting another amp but my head unit only has 2 rcas on it how do i get an rca to my 3rd amp

it would be better then using the other pair of rca outputs from your headunit. one pair for each amp

you can use either
I would use though the rca output from your amp if it has got it else just use a splitter

u can get rca splitters from ice shops, halfords sell 'em for around £3

i have two amps in the boot of my car can i wire them using 1 rca.
i have split the power cable with a distribution block and the same with the remote cable.do i need an output on one of my amps to make them work together? with 1 rca
