Im running f20 think that's the best to use I've tryed a f16 but didn't think it was as good as the f20

128 in 4th what gearbox is that ?? i only get 110 in 4th in my corsa redtop running f20

thats what ive head and a mate had f16 then f20 he said f16 is a bit quicker at pulling off but pretty much same asd f20 but stronger and longer 5th. do you need to go over 120 lol? change it when it breaks thats my plan.

so the only benefit i would get out of a f20 would be a longer 5th gear then?? my gte did 128mph in 4th where as my corsa pulls round the 120mph mark. im just in two minds weather its worth changing.

f18 is a waste of time gears are long and boring, and to be fair your xe dies off in 4th and 5th my 2.0 8v pulls well through all gears and still got poke in it at 4th. and to be fair i feel this way some times when i get foot happy feels like my engine is screaming, f16 and f20 im pretty sure there quite the same but 5th in a f20 has a longer gear.

my c20xe corsa gsi is coupled up with a f16 gear bag,it pulls really well to 3rd but then dies rite off in 4th and 5th. dont get me wrong the f16 makes it quick but it feels to me like im revving the engine to death just to get it to get going through the band of torque. i had a astra gte 16v a couple of years ago and it just seemed a better set up with the f20 but after reading seveal threads alot of people are swung towards the f16 0r f18 in the corsa conversions. is there really that much difference in acceleration between the f16 and f20??? if so can anyone tell me any pros and cons to the f18 because im thinking about fitting another gear bag when i do the steering rack.
