My car is currently fitted with a 1.0 12v 3 cylinder EcoTec engine, and im transplanting a 1.4 8v Sri engine into the car.
Ive got the bits required for the conversion but have a question...

My car has got abs and power steering, but the car it came from did not i dont think...will this be a problem? Can it be overcome? (i.e disconnect abs and power steering and have it all heavy etc). Or does it just work.

It will also have the ECU from the Si 14XE engine.

Thanks in advance for any help/advice.
