yeah but mine is an SRi sound is quite nice but i cant say that performance has changed and this is all for an extra £12 a month for insurance (High performance air filter) - yeah right!

you wont notice any performance gain with an induction kit on a 1.2 8v. you get a better gain by using a panel filter and drilled airbox. the engines dont like induction kits.

c i did the same as Garnz yesterday but i disconnected the positive terminal - and in the end saw no better performance - surely it shouldnr matter which terminal you dissconnect?

to reset the ecu disconnect the negative on your battery for and hour then reconnect and start your car. leave it running for 20 seconds then go 4 a drive for 20 minutes. i did it on my corsa and it did feel and sound better.

oh and if uve got a standard alarm turn the ignition on and off and disconnect your battery within 15 seconds or the alarm will go off

i have been told you need to reset your ecu by removing the battery.

right, ive just spent my hard earned on a k&n filtercharger induction kit. i have been told to maximise performance, the fuel/air mixture needs to be altered. seen as though my car (corsa B 1.2 8v s.p.i) has the multitec e.c.u engine management system, the fuel/air mixture is electronically altered to get maximum economy by the processor. is there a way i can alter this? or is there any other way i can tweak the performance through my new kit? i have also just purchased a magnex stainless exhaust system, so can i use my kit to make it sound better? HELP!!!!!!!!!
