Were supposed to be rebuilding an old ford 1.1 ohv at college but my tutor has been ill so we only got as far as stripping it and cleaning everything. We got all day thursday and friday this week to finnish and test em!! | |

If you've got the time and the tools and you can get a manual for the engine it's really not that hard. A great, simple engine to start with is the 2.25 out of old land rovers. There are loads of these lying around the place seized (they're owned by farmers, same oil for whole life, no new filters etc etc) You can get them for taking them away really. | |

Ok cheers ill have a look. Just cant seem to find an engine with under 120k on it so i was thinking about getting a high mileage one and having it rebuilt. | |

Theres an ad in the bag of this months Total Vauxhall for an engine rebuilder and they are doin a special offer me thinks, its a quarter page ad in grey and red on right hand page, cant be arsed to get page number for ya | |

It depends on how far you want to go, and it you want the parts to do it yourself or need to add the labour as well. | |
