sorted it now, getting spark! also getting spark now without the coil being earthed :s | |

The coil needs to be earthed. Take the paint off and have bare metal showing where the coil bracket meets the car body. | |

No don't think, where do I earth coil? And both the wires on the coil are coming up as live, is this right? | |

Yep got all them earths, engine is earthed as I tested it! Got all lights on dash working fine also, just no spark!!! | |

Should be one earth on alternater to inlet then 2 from injector loom onto rail, then starter to negative, one to bulk head then box to chassis leg | |

yeah thats connected right, got power coming into the coil, coil works to as i put it on old v8 and it turned that over so plenty of power in it. i tried putting a plug on the end of lead from coil and no spark still. so nothing coming out of the coil. i havent a clue now, all i can think of i engine earth? do i need to earth it somewhere to chassis, only current earth i have is going from starter to battery, then goes from there to bulkhead | |

getting no spark from c20xe that ive put into corsa. fuel pump is work as getting fuel and had a leak so i know its getting fuel, also power is going to the coil but none coming out,its a dizzy type btw, tried a new crank sensor today and still no luck, and switched ignition live is also wired correctly. any help would appreciate as im completely lost now |
