You should be able to plug it in and get various readings from the engine sensors/modules.

Can do this on the the older Vdubs.

I think I've only ever heard the Mito fan come on in the summer - the gauge is shite anyway, it sits at 90 whatever.

What if stat was faulty it wouldn't bring fan on or show a faulty light . Is there definatly no way to check? Might plug computer on in noting see of I can turn fan on manually to check it works.

Yes there is a warning light for the temp gauge. This time of year it will take a very long time for the fan to come in on some cars. I wouldn't worry about it really!

Because at no point is fan coming on. Was a bumped one I did . It's a shit idea with no temp gauge , is there a warning light on temperature?

Why do you think its getting to hot? Surely a warning light would come on? (no gauge i imagine like the caddy?)

As above, I think it's getting too hot and fans not coming on. Does anyone know how to check temp ? Cheers
