your better of gettin a set of components and put them in the same place as the standard speaker.... no 1 can tell the difference and they will sound better

Don't use 6x9s at all. Get better quality components and mount those in the rear qtrs.

get some speaker cloth from maplins, and build your 6 be 9s into your existing shelf possibly with some MDF underneath, then cloth it nice and tight on the top, looks proper mint, sounds brilliant.

surely a stealth shelf just shows you have sumthing to hide, and in my case the buggas know i like my speakers. i think im just gonna replace the front speakers instead. but then again i nead a new Head Unit first as the twats had that out of my car today

would still advise a stealth shelf... nothing visible on top of the shelf at all... plus they are more sturdy than the original ones......

put some fabric over the top of them, easy as pie, looks like there aint none in there, but still sounds good

Put them in ur rear quarters, under ur rear side windows if u have a 3 door. 6x9's will just fit but they will still b on show but harder to take out. They'll also sound alot better in that position if u have a sub in ur boot.
