	It did say about that in the Haynes. Is it necessary to do as much as they say? I was under the impression that you could just take the linkage part out from under the bonnet.

	It's quite easy to change, only hard bit Is the bolt ya have to get from under car

	Had the bonnet up the other day and seems fairly easy to get to. End behind the engine won't be quite as easy, but should be alright. Ordered a new metal one tonight :) Along with a shedload of bulbs :lol:

	Yea its relatively easy to do if your mechanically minded. Not to difficult. Garage wouldn't charge much mind to fit that for you though.

	it's not too hard to get to on a B Dave so can't imagine it being too difficult on a C either :) you might want the front up in the air so you can get underneath though :thumbs: [Edited on 04-01-2012 by Darryl H]

	Why did I not think to look in Tutorials? :lol: :facepalm: Thanks, Jed. Nice one Jamie :thumbs: Metal one looks good so it won't wear out again. Any ideas on how hard it is to replace? I'll have to take a look in the daylight and see how easy it is to get to.

	the bit across the top and the two little cup bushes things at each end of it common to wear i believe also look into setting up the linkage properly, its easy enough to do and helped me a lot when i couldn't get 5th without a fight... its in tutorials :thumbs: beat by Jamie ;) [Edited on 04-01-2012 by Jed D]
