I think its flashing tape from B&Q. It's not as dence but its a lot cheaper so I suppose you could use twice as much!

Yeh, a know wot u mean one of ma mates used that approach, it works ok aswell and is gud value a suppose ..... still not as gud though coz its lower density, if u feel the weight of brown bread u'll know wot i mean!

A while ago, (maybe a year or so) i saw a a topic on corsasport about using some roof lineing from B&Q. It was sugested that it worked twice as well and cost sod all. Apparently it stuck down the same with a hairdryer and looked exactly like brown bread if not the same stuff. You could look throuh the archives or maybe someone else might know what im waffleing on about

rear quarter panels and the boot are the main places although u tend to find the places that vibrate the most with extreme bass are the scuttle panel and hollow gsi spoiler(nothin expanding foam carnt sort out!)....

Where apart from the doors then do you recommend sound proofing?

Everywhere?

Ive used dynamat extreme, about 20 or so rolls, the panels ive done, you can clearly hear the diference if you tap them, then tap the bits ive not yet done. Its cut down sooo much road noise and ive not done the floor, arches or bulkhead yet either.

Ive seen brown bread and its not as thick or rigid as dynamat extreme. Its about as effective as regular dynamat, works, yes, but you can do better. Just like you can do better than dynamat extreme........concrete!

That's £150 more that could be spent on getting a better system...

i would spend more money on getting a quility system that i'm happy with and then brown bread the mother.

You may end up doing all the car only to notice little has changed coz yer system is shite not yer car.

I used it on my front doors. Its ok stuff but I don't know if it made a difference because I fitted it the same time as my speakers.
