You could probs do it by just removing the bottom ball joint from the lower arms and the 2 suspension bolts and hub nut then just swing it round.

Oil seals just pull out, prise 'em out with a screw driver or something or else screw some self tappers in and pull them out with moleys.

dont have an impact gun and my mole grips are from the 80's :(
will try pushing it back into the hub again but iv had a pry bar and my weight pushing down doing it that way and it just turns, its as if iv turned it about 1 or 2 turns but now its just spinning

how do the drive shaft oil seals come out then?? :boggle:

You sometimes get somewhere to grip on the track rod, pull the seal back a bit and see if there's anything there.

Also try hammering it in to the hub, they're tapered so the further inside the hole they are, the most purchase they will have on the shaft meaning more for the nut to spin against.

Sometimes an impact gun will do it as well.

how the hell do drive shaft oil seal/differential seal rings come out? :( it wont budge

and while im on

question two, tip on getting a track rod end off from the hub when the nut keeps turning the thread. iv tried putting a pry bar and pushing down on the top of the track rod end but the nuts keeps turning the ball joint inside :(

sorry for the simpleton questions but it always seem the simple things are a hurdle for me :(

thanks in advance
