aye. im putting fresh fluid in mate... kept the old in a tub anyway cos its on the old ladys drive next door :lol: | |

just undo the bottom ball joint matey then shaft nut and split pin take the shaft out and as abpve poil seal shud pop out, put a bit grease on the new one so it slides in mint then stik it bk together, oh and drain ya box oil off first and catch it in a tub so ya can stik it bk in | |

oil seal just use a screwdriver and the tre will sometimes have a allen key that will fit into the end to stop it spinning | |

wey i got the N/S off by removing the suspension bolts and the TRE and just pulled it... ne probs | |

You could probs do it by just removing the bottom ball joint from the lower arms and the 2 suspension bolts and hub nut then just swing it round. | |

I cut my track rods off with a hacksaw :lol:, obviously means you would need new ones though. | |

You sometimes get somewhere to grip on the track rod, pull the seal back a bit and see if there's anything there. | |

have you tryed clamping the track rod end to the hub that mite stop the ball from turn it worked for me at college | |

how the hell do drive shaft oil seal/differential seal rings come out? :( it wont budge |
