Hmmm I aint really got a clue what a squib is, does the wheel have to come off? To connect it again or get to this squib? Sound lads

A normal paperclip test wont show up the airbag ECU Fault codes, I can't remember what pin it is.

You can disconnect the battery for an hour or so to reset it, However I doubt this is the issue.

I'd say the airbag is disconnected or the squib is faulty.

Surely I can disconnect the battery for half hour to reset the ecu, do a paper clip test to check no faults are showing and then the light will stay off ?

on a corsa b? theres no wires at all conecting a cora b pretensioner to anything, its most likely the squib at the back of the steering wheel or the previous owner has had an after market wheel on it and didnt reset it when the standard wheel went back on

Well basically if I get another pretensioner, is that gonna turn the light off? And if so how does the ecu know its been replaced ?

if it isnt pulling the full current then it will show up as a fault,

So is there some kind of sensor that plugs into the pretensioner to notify the ecu that its not working? Or how does the ecu know that its broken?

Yes it will any circuit that's broken or not plugs in will cause airbag light to come on
