Yeh it has a plug going into it, thinking that the one I bought is for an 8v :( | |

its in the side of the thermostat on mine (1.6) fan switch is in the rad and looks totally different. coolant will come out when you change it | |

The one on the thermostat is for the engine coolant temp (if it is on the thermostat, iirc it is). The one on the side of the rad is a thermoswitch that is for automatically turning your fan on. The sensor for the MFD temp display, outside temp, is behind the front bumper, can't mind what side | |

Side of the rad is the fan switch, temp sensor is on the thermostat I think | |

Somewhere in the rad, cant remember exactly. One is temp sensor and one is fan switch. | |

Yep that'll be the problem m8 and when you replace it for god sake dont overtighten it because its a tapered thread | |
