Easy enough to do if you take your time and have a bit of pacience, first you want to be plastic welding as much as poss as this wont crack or sink like fibreglass and filler would. ill show some pics of how mine was done

For example : plastic cut to shape and 'welded' in (you can use a soldering iron)

Then you want to be sanding it all back and apply a skim of filler

Work the filler till flat and then apply a dust coat of primer, flat back to check there are no high or low spots, if there are then skim with filler again.

Once you are happy prime up and prep for srpaying

Remember paint will show up any imperfections no matter how small they are, take your time and get the prep 100%

once painted should look a little like this

same preincible goes for the 'swage line' on the top of the bumper

my mates on doing mine for me, plastic filler

apparently its a bit of a twat to do. make sure you curve it properly, dont just fill the line in and smooth it flat or you'll have an edge

you leaving the numberplate recess in or is that getting done too?

Alot of people use fibre glass filler, then normal filler or plastic filler over the top. Could crack over time though.
