yeah they have still got the old engine there and the garage is called c g autos is in dunston next to the jet garage

Surely the garage have tried the crank sensor? Do they have the old engine there to swap sensors over etc?

Oh and can you also give me the name of the garage so i'm reminded not to ever use them.

well hopefully its just the relay. the garage have changed all the relays in the fuse box as they didnt know which one was for what

how much would it be for a crank sensor

one relay is above the ecu, the other one is behind the glove box, to the left. try replacing the crank sensor, i had the same problem with mine.

where is the realy located? and yes they have kept the original ecu, chip, keyand nope there is no alarm or immobliser

You don't have an alarm / immobiliser that the could have unplugged and not noticed? i did the head gasket on my sisters corsa once, forgot about unplugging alarm sounder and it cut the fuel :lol:

my car is in the garage getting the engine changed to another 1 litre but they have just phoned saying it wont start up and dont know why does any one have any suggestons??

also the engine will start if they spray easy start into the throttle body and the fuel pump works if you wire it straight to tha battery but wont work without that wire any one got any ideas
