Cheers m8 ur help was gr8 coz the local suply place round mine were chargin £280 for jus shocks and i thought it was strange em chargin that.... got the shocks now for £148 which aint bad, dont know where they got £280 from. Still wish i bought full suspension kit:(! o well. Thanks Nick

Jus checked demon tweaks now and its true! £203 for a full suspension kit for a corsa... Unbelievable!!! so why the fuck has this guy tryed chargin me £280 jus for the SHOCKS!!!??? im on my way 2 hav a word wiv him now;)

APEX/GMAX - there is no real difference to be honest m8. Personal preference i reckon :D

your makin me paranoid now! so if you get the full sus kit then your not in danger of having driveshafts popping out everywhere?

you can get an APEX suspension setup for about £250 are these are better than gmax?

On a Corsa if you lower past say 45/50mm your drive shafts bend the wrong way. The drive shafts as standard are like this / \ (only obviously not as steep as that), when you lower say 35mm, they go straight _ _ then when you go 60mm they bend the oposite way \ / which causes the drive shafts to actualy pop out. Uprated sports dampers are shortened so you don't get this effect. if u get just springs then they all depend on how long they last with ur driving.
also depends on how big ur wallet is :)

If u are lowering 60mm it is ALWAYS recommended to buy shocks and springs.
But as cybermonkey said your standard shocks could give up the ghost quickly or could be
lucky to get 6 months out of them.
U will get a better set up and ride with shocks and springs..Thats a fact but you don't
need to do it all at once. There is no hard fast rule on how long your shocks would last.

Im relli fuckin confused and naffed off!!! can som1 please tell me the truth!!! people r tellin me different things so ppl r sayin that the only reason they sell up 2 60mm wiv jus the springs r coz u dont need the shocks hense u dont hav 2 buy a full suspension kit. This is doin my hed in now so could som1 please help!!!

i would give them anywhere between a cuple of months to a year. Depending on the condition of the shocks. You may find that they will fail after a week!

If i was 2 buy 60mm springs and fit them straight 2 the standard shocks how long would the shocks last till id need 2 upgrade em 2 the sports 1's?
New 2 all this wheel business so any help or advice would b very much apreciated... Thanks in advance Nick
