Don't cut ur original shelf cos there £140 to buy from Vauxhall and it's near impossible to find one at the scrappies, I know cos I did the same thing and now regretted it and still waiting for one.....

cutting ur original shelf is risky as it can be hard to find a replacement if needed

yeah. Why cut your shelf, just wait and buy a sheet of 18mm mdf for £10 and carpet for £15 or so. Not worth cutting the original incase, like me, you wanna move them in the future.

yeah, when i get paid i will buy some mdf and make my own,but for noe their going on the shelf,So its a case of using the exisiting speaker wire and wiring them up.What do u mean template,as in template of the speaker so it is a snugg fit?

using an MDF shelf will improve the sound aswell.

if you already have rear speakers in your corsa, wiring them up will be dead easy. Just take new wires from the existing wires to make em go.

Use a jigsaw with a decent blade, and make sure you make a template ;)
