dunno wat clocks out of, just got it from scrappy... the clocks are readin in accurate cus, garage checked and revs were higher than what showin on counter... revs show up to 4000 but actually readin from cables shows 7000...

there electric not cable drivern if that helps...

the clock isnt out of a 3cyl 1litre by any chance isit?
does it sound/feel like it is running at 500rpm or is the counter just inaccurate?
it could be a voltage regulatore problem for the tacho as they have their own regulators, idle the car and see if when u turn your headlights on or your leccy windows or your heated back window and see if the rev counter rises by any amount.
it may be a faulty clock mate

you can rev it in neutral....
its defo not catching on anything.

its like the counter needs resetting or something.
at the moment when the is in idle the counter is reading at 500rpm instead of 900rpm.

even if u rev it in neutral? are the revs going above 4k, check your connections and check the actual hardware - the needle is not catching on anything on the clock, in or behind the needle

i have changed from the 3 dials (from a 1.2 ls corsa) to a 4 dials (with revs counter).
at the moment the revs will only go up to 4000 rpm and no futher.

i have no revs cables or nothing like that as they the clocks are electric.

how can i solve this problem????
