Well the speedo stopped working, spent weeks trying to fix it. Turned out the nearside wheel had been rubbing on the ABS sensor. Changed the ABS sensor and the speedo worked again. So no, its not impossible at all is it?: :rolleyes:

We had a 1.4 16v gls and speedo was picked up threw abs aswell

If it had the electrical speedo (as per the last pic), the first cable type wouldnt fit and won't work. The black thing in the pic is indeed the electrical driven pickup.

I don't know what wires go where (Seen your other thread) but yeah, theres half of it missing.

that one looks damaged (bottom pic) should be a bit on the top that the connector goes to?

What car have you got? My old sport didn't have either and the speedo was run off the ABS.

Does the electric transducer look like this? If so how would I wire this up??

Are you sure its not electrical drive? If it is that would never fit.

Nice one mate should it go all the way in and then bolt back In with the 10mm? As my gearbox didn't have anything in it when I bought it :s

If your gearbox has got a manual drive it should fit straight in mate, ive got one on mine. Then can take a bit of wiggling to get the cogs to mate together

This transducer won't fit in my f15cr gearbox? I don't want to hammer it incase it doesn't work or breaks? Any ideas?
