Kris, does the 1.5TD come with an immobiliser as standard or optional extra or what? i think i have one already, can i just fit this alarm and leave the standard immobiliser in?

i had an immobiliser in mine but it was an aftermarket one. the cat 1 alarm has 2 immobilser circuits anyway, when i had mine fitted he disconnected the one i already had.

Got Toad C4 as mines is W reg & comes with immob, dunno about the diesel or not dep on age. Check ur log book for ur keycard, it has ur immob & radio code on it. Good alarm but as my work won't supply for diy, it's got to be fitted by thatcham app fitter for certification! Not a job for a novice!

This is whats on my car aswell, good alarm and ive had no problems with it at all so far

No in fact it went of falsely once, it was windy and the sunroof was tilted open so i presume thats wot it was (dont worry, it was in my garden, so there wasnt much chance of gettin stolen, just used the alarm key fob 2 lock it as its quicker:D)

I got a clifford on mine, top alarm system never let me down and has loads of features, consider clifford as well, just as good, but from what my mates have said toad is also very good and reliable.

a1606 cat one with exterior sensors, only comment i can make are that.
1. my car has never been broken into since having it (touch wood)
2. if doesnt have false alarms except when my housemates think its funny to kjeep waving in the window to set it off, lol

im pleased with it, so much more peace of mind.

Yep, got one myself and definately can't complain. I got the 850 model which is Thatcham approved, so it'll help my insurance a bit, and also works from the original key fob.

Just wondering if anyone has one and what they are like?

I was under the impression they were second only to clifford.
