cant remember exactly, have u tried just taking the pipe off the motor and the jet off the other end, get a mouthful of water and then blow it as hard as u can down the pipe, it might be as simple as an airlock or blockage

right I have cleaned out the washer bottle and it still aint working so I am going to have to get the pipes mate thanks for yer help how much are the pipes ?

and to check if its the pipes, after u've cleared or if it already is clear the actual bottle, then take of the washer jets and suck through the water, if it wont come then eaieest thing cause they're not expensive is just to get new pipes which r clear from Halfords

wouldnt of thought it was the motor as it still worked but not good you would know if it doesnt work as it does not make a noise.
the problem is probley what lee says it is gunk down the pipes
or your pipe has a leak so loses power

a washer motor brand new is only about £16.50 from Halfords, I brought one the other week thinking mine had gone, so I took it all apart replaced it and it still wouldnt work.
It turned out to be a build up of gunge where the stalk of the motor goes into the bottle, I washed it otu and ti works fine now,
oh I had similar symptoms to u

the washer motor is attached to the washer bottle in the engine bay - its a nightmare to get out as u have to take all the bottle out. i got charged a tenner for a washer motor

whenever I put my washer jets on on the motorway the last few months they are sh!te, they are sometimes ok on a standard road but even then they are not 100% quite dangerous on the motorway though. Do you think it could be the motor ? if it is how much to buy a new one ? is it the one in the top left side of the engine (drivers side ) the one that controls the wiper arms too, any help hugely appreciated if its the motor I am going to get to a vauxhall garage for a new one before I go to the match at 11, many thanks, Paul....
