Do any of the light units fade then? just wondering whats the point in having a crcuit board if all it does is light up??? cheers!

The fading circuitry on the vecras is electronically controlled because the courtsey light fades on when the car is opened, and off when the doors are closed. The vectra light will proberbly work that way as the vectras live supply to the light may only be able to handle 10watts max.

I've wired up mine just as it says in the tutorial, but I have found that when I switch on both map lights, all three lights come on, but dimmed. When the door opens, the two spots go off and the middle one comes on full power!! its a bit strange. Also, mine has no circuit board, it is one from a Vectra (tinted grey) looks great but I was hoping that the circuit board had the fading circuitry!!

won't do any harm mate. I wouldn't mind seeing how hard it is to do.

Did it on mine today. Change the standard single interior light, to an interior light andtwin map reading light setup. |
