Well i'll get mine looked at this weekend and let you know the diagnosis, if it is the timing chain i can't afford it yet so is there any time limit or anything i can do to slow down the inevitable ? | |

Ignoring a rattle on the timing chain can damage your cams in the long run. | |

Yeah it will still do it, don't totally ignore it as if it snaps then its mega ££ compared to a few hundred. | |

oil is fine in the girlfriends and still does it , a service seemed to stop it doing it for a while mind you | |

Nah its never been any hassle , only seems to do it when its cold and goes away after 10 seconds at the most , anything between 200 - 500 ive heard depending on where you. | |

Deffo the timing chain , girlfriends does it as well , also heard a few others doing it as well. | |
