right if u got a 1.2 16v or lower the bias valve wont need ajusting, how ever if u gt a 1.4 upwards the bias valve will need a justing my 1.4 16v sport used to lock up a lot and the back end came out regualrly and i am onli lowered 30mm :! All u need to do is loosen the bolt that pivots the bias valve push it back as far as it will go so it is not slack then tighten the bolt job done :D

Get it done trust me will save u a lot of hairy moments :!

Didnt do mine as I have ABS so they dont have a bias valve

I lowered me Sport 35-40mm and the back end was a little skittish under heavy braking so when I took it in for its service I told the guy it needed adjusting as it was part of the service, they did it and tried to charge me 20 quid for the pleasure I pointed at that it was part of service and that I could have done it myself in 2 minutes with me eyes closed if I had a 4 poster! Then he knocked it off the bill, It brakes spot on now staight as a die. Worth doin

well there we go. If you lower AT ALL, adjust the bias on the rear brakes!!

of course it needs adjusting, its in the service guide, it should be done every 9000 miles anyway.

ye im meant that on smaller engines it dont need adjusting. mine didnt anyway 1.o 12v.

mine needs readjusting cos the bk locks up. 1.2's do actually have one, its just different, look in the haynes manual. was reading bout it today. mine needs doing since i went from 35 to 60mm drop, this is on a td.

small engines like 1.2 1.o dont have brake bias thing that needs to b adjusted and so dont have to worry

any garage shud know wot theyre doing!! and it wont effect breaking!

if i have my car lowred on 16"rims will i have to adjust the break bias?
what will this do?
and will any garage know what they are doing with this? non-vaux BTW
