you will got hardly any performance out of a de-cat on a 1.0

but if u still want to do it, the de-cat dont need any cutting, its just a simple replacement for the cat which is allready held on by exhaust brackets

How should i go about it then????
Should i cut out the cat, then put in my de cat
then use two exhaust brackets and then fix in the de cat in, which will slide over the old pipes???asuming thatr the de cat pipes will be bigger than the origional?
Then when it come to re fitting should i get two short peaces of pipe to fix in the cat, that are bigger allowing the joint to be sealed where i cut the cat out?
Cheers for any help phil:D

just swap it back to the original cat when MOT comes round. Its only once a year and a piss easy job to do :)

yea - but with a cat replacement pipe , it wont pass mot, a sports cat will

just get a de-cat pipe made up from Powerflow. Not worth putting a performance cat on a 1.0 really.
